Indy Kitchen is a shared culinary space where food entrepreneurs, chefs, and businesses can rent a fully-equipped and licensed facility by the hour to prepare, cook, and package their creations without the hassle of owning or maintaining a dedicated kitchen. This is a working kitchen and we are respectful of the businesses operating here. Because of this, we are not able to accommodate “drop-in” visitors - tours of the kitchen must be scheduled in advance. Thank you for understanding!

Membership

Users of the kitchen must have a membership agreement, which includes the following:

  1. Current food handler’s card.

  2. Food server license(s) that cover all activities you do in the kitchen.

  3. Current copies of your insurance that lists Indy Commons LLC as additionally insured.

How it Works

  1. Members ‘pay as they cook’ and are charged for their bookings as they go.

  2. Members are charged the day of their booking, regardless of when the booking was created or approved. 

  3. Members are charged at midnight after the booking takes place.

  4. If a past booking is updated, or if a new booking is created for the past, the client will be charged on the spot.

  5. Members receive a monthly bill on the 3rd for their review and are charged for monthly charges on the 5th. This monthly billing includes any recurring fees and storage assigned to their account. 

Booking Cancellations

  1. If a member cancels the booking before the kitchen's cancellation penalty window, they will not be charged for it. 

  2. If a member cancels the booking within the kitchen's cancellation penalty window (24 hours before the booking starts), they will not be charged for the booking.  However, they will be charged for the cancellation fee at midnight that night.
