Community Pitch Night: Put Your Idea Out There!

Have a business idea you’ve been thinking about—but haven’t quite worked up the courage to share? Or would you simply enjoy hearing creative ideas and supporting local entrepreneurs?

Pitch Night is for the whole community! Whether you want to take the stage or cheer from the audience, you’re invited to join us for a fun and encouraging evening.

Participants will pitch their ideas to a panel of judges and a supportive community audience, answer questions, and compete for prizes. Community members will get to hear each pitch, encourage the participants, and vote for the Crowd Favorite.

Pitch categories include:

• Youth Entrepreneur — age 18 or younger
• Idea Stage — exploring an idea, prototype, or early sales
• New Business — regularly operating for two years or less

Nonprofit and social-enterprise ideas are also welcome. If we receive enough applications, we may add a separate Social Impact category.

Pitch applicants must live, attend school, operate a business, or plan to launch their idea in Monmouth or Independence. Youth participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

You don’t need a polished business plan, professional slide deck, or public-speaking experience. You just need an idea, a willingness to share it, and the courage to take the next step.

Advance registration is required to pitch, and the event is limited to 12 pitches. Use this link to save your spot!

No registration is needed to attend as an audience member—everyone is welcome!

Come discover new ideas, support local dreamers, and help choose the Crowd Favorite!
